%X Seguindo a tendência de bibliotecas e institutos digitalizarem sua produção científica, visando preservar, compartilhar e disseminar seus conhecimentos para a sociedade, de forma a contribuir para o desenvolvimento científico, tecnológico e social do país desenvolveu-se um programa de computador URLib ("Uniform Repositories for a Library") para interagir com o acervo de bibliotecas digitais, possuindo estantes inteligentes. O objetivo geral do estudo é verificar se a ferramenta URLibService (Serviço da URLib, o nome do programa de computador para interagir com o acervo da URLib) auxilia a gestão do conhecimento junto ao processo de Pós-Graduação da Coordenação-Geral de Observação da Terra (OBT) do Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE). Para isso os objetivos específicos serão: caracterizar os processos existentes na OBT e, em particular, o de Pós-Graduação; conhecer e caracterizar o potencial da ferramenta (URLibService), utilizada pela Pós-Graduação, para Gestão do Conhecimento (GC) nos aspectos de desenvolvimento, funcionalidade e aplicabilidade; verificar o desempenho para GC desta ferramenta no processo de Pós-Graduação; analisar o uso da ferramenta para GC e de seus recursos bem como sua divulgação para usuários da OBT. A metodologia enfatiza a Pesquisa-ação como um método que proporciona aos participantes da pesquisa a liberdade para agir, interagir, produzir novos conhecimentos e amadurecimento de possíveis soluções. De acordo com a metodologia escolhida, selecionaram-se para a coleta de dados, as entrevistas não-padronizadas ou não estruturadas. Em geral, com perguntas abertas que podem ser respondidas dentro de uma conversação informal. O diagnóstico destaca um estudo sobre o INPE, a OBT e uma análise do processo de Pós-Graduação do Sensoriamento Remoto; caracteriza o potencial do URLibService, e analisa a utilização desta ferramenta no intuito de verificar o seu auxilio no desenvolvimento das atividades dentro do processo assinalado. As considerações finais destacam-se algumas conclusões sobre o tema abordado. ABSTRACT: Following the trend of libraries and justinian codes to digital its scientific production, aiming at to preserve, to share and to spread its knowledge for the society, of form to contribute for the scientific, technological and social development of the country developed a program of URLib computer ("Uniform Repositories will be the Library") to interact with the quantity of digital libraries, possessing intelligent bookshelves. The general objective of the study is to verify if the URLibService tool (Service of the URLib, the name of the program of computer to interact with the quantity of the URLib) assists the management of the together knowledge to the process of Pos-Graduation of Coordenação-Geral de Observação of Terra (OBT) of the National Institute of Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE). For this the specific objectives will be: to characterize the existing processes in the OBT and, in particular, of Pos-Graduation; to know and to characterize the potential of the tool (URLibService), used for Pos-Graduation, for Knowledge Management in the aspects of development, functionality and applicability; to verify the performance for Knowledge Management of this tool in the process of Pos-Graduation; to analyze the use of the tool for Knowledge Management and its resources as well as its spreading for users of the OBT. The methodology emphasizes the Research-action as a method that provides to the participants of the research the freedom to act, to interact, to produce new knowledge and matureness of possible solutions. In accordance with the chosen methodology, had been selected for the not standardized or not structuralized collection of data, interviews. In general, with open questions that can inside be answered of an informal conversation. The diagnosis detaches a study on the INPE, the OBT and an analysis of the process of Pos-Graduation of the Remote Sensing; it characterizes the potential of the URLibService, and analyzes the use of this tool in intention to verify its I assist inside in the development of the activities of the designated process. The final consideration are distinguished some conclusions on the boarded subject.
